How to Enable Screen Sharing

Follow these instructions based on your operating system and browser to enable screen sharing for the "entire screen":

Browser-Specific Instructions

Chrome

  • Navigate to the website
  • Click the screen share button
  • Select "Entire Screen" tab
  • Choose your screen
  • Click "Share"

Firefox

  • Navigate to the website
  • Click the screen share button
  • Select "Screen" option
  • Choose your entire screen
  • Click "Allow"

Edge

  • Navigate to the website
  • Click the screen share button
  • Select "Screen" tab
  • Choose your monitor
  • Click "Share"

Safari

  • Navigate to the website
  • Click the screen share button
  • Select "Screen" option
  • Choose your entire screen
  • Click "Share"

Opera

  • Navigate to the website
  • Click the screen share button
  • Select "Entire Screen" tab
  • Choose your screen
  • Click "Share"

Operating System Setup

1 macOS: Go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Privacy → Screen Recording. Add and enable your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
2 Windows: No additional setup required for most browsers. Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.
3 Linux: May require additional permissions depending on your desktop environment. For Wayland, screen sharing support varies by browser.

Troubleshooting

! If screen sharing doesn't work:
  • Ensure you're using HTTPS or localhost
  • Check browser permissions for the site
  • Try refreshing the page and testing again
  • Update your browser to the latest version
  • On macOS, check Screen Recording permissions

Supported Browsers

Screen sharing is supported in modern versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, and other Chromium-based browsers. Mobile browsers may have limited support for screen sharing.
